Almost three decades ago, in 1975, the Sixth Annual Iranian Mathematical Conference was held at this university which was then called Jundi Shapur university. In the beginning of the next year, January 26 to 29, 2005, the conference will be held for the second time in Ahvaz at Chamran University . It is a great pleasure and honor for me and my colleagues in the Collage of Mathematics to host this conference. Therefore, on behalf of my colleagues, I would like to cordially invite all mathematicians, mathematics teachers, students and all scientists interested in mathematics to participate in this great international event.

As you know, this university in the past centuries used to have an immense role in advancing science and human's knowledge worldwide and was one of the main centers for scientific meetings and gatherings. This encourage me to expect more participants than ever before in the conference and I am certain that the 35 th AIMC, will be a successful and memorable Conference. Obviously, there is no need to mention that all participants will benefit from this gathering by exchanging new ideas and views on mathematics.
